MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT PROGRAM

PURPOSE:  Increase membership in the Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association and recognize top members recruiters for their efforts.

CONCEPT:  A Board of Directors sponsored program designed to reward members who excel in the area of membership recruitment.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Number of new members required to be considered for award include:

Large Chapter (as outlined in Association Guidance Handbook). Minimum of 14 new members.

- For scoring equality

-- Fourteen new members equal 14 points.

-- Each new member recruited above the minimum will be awarded one point.

Small Chapter (as outlined in Association Guidance Handbook). Minimum of seven new members.

- For scoring equality

-- Seven new members equal 14 points.

-- Each new member recruited above the minimum will be awarded one point.

2. All NEW membership applications with the "Recruited By" block on the membership application filled out will be eligible for recognition.

3. Members recruited must meet the criteria for membership in the Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association as outlined in the Association constitution.

4. Current seated Board of Directors are not eligible for this award.

5. Time frame for recognition will run from 1 Jul 07 – 30 Jun 08 and 1 Jul 08 – 30 Jun 09.

RECOGNITION:

1. Award of a NCOAGA jacket will be presented one per region based on the number of new members. If there is a tie for "top recruiter" within the region, the "top recruiter" will be selected through a drawing of the names.

2. Of the six top recruiters, the individual who has recruited the top number of new members (15 or more points) will be recognized as the "top recruiter" and also be presented with registration to the upcoming national seminar. If there is a tie amongst any of the six regional "top recruiters", the winner of the seminar registration fee will be selected through a drawing.

3. Certificates of achievement will be presented to all individuals who have made recruitment efforts within their region at the national seminar.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

1. Recruitment numbers will be updated by the Director-at-Large, Membership on the monthly spreadsheets and tracked by the Regional Directors. The Director-at-Large, Membership will keep documentation regarding recruitment for verification purposes.
