NCOAGA HALL OF FAME

Purpose.  To recognize an outstanding Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association member who has served the goals of the Association in an unselfish, long and faithful period of time.

Concept Criteria Reasons for Not Giving the Award How to Submit Presentation

Concept.  This is the highest and most prestigious award the Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association can award to its members.

Criteria.

1.  The member should have a long-term relationship with the Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association.

2.  The member's entire military history should be considered.

3.  The member's record while attending all Noncommissioned Officer Professional Military Education should be considered.

4.  The member must have superior characteristics such as integrity, military image, be trustworthy, and set a superior example for others to follow and look up to.

5.  All that the member has accomplished in the community and in the military service and Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association-related programs and projects should be considered.

6.  A deceased member may be considered for this award.

Reasons for Not Giving the Award.

1.  Award should not be a "Good Old Boy" award.

2.  Given to members just because they have been in the Association for a "long period" of time.

3.  Should only be given to members in good standing with the Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association.

How to Submit.

1.  The individual should be submitted by a local Noncommissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association chapter.

2.  Nomination packages will be submitted to the appropriate Regional Director no later than 15 February (postmarked no later than). 

-  Regional Directors will forward nomination packages to the 2nd Vice President no later than 1 March. 

-  The 2nd Vice President will forward nomination packages to the chair of the selection committee no later than 31 March.

Presentation.

1.  Name engraved on a permanent plaque or trophy to be kept at a designated location and displayed at annual Seminars.

2.  Individual to receive a plaque or trophy and a certificate at the next annual Seminar.

3.  For a deceased member, their next of kin will be presented the award on behalf of that member at the next annual Seminar.
